“As a teenager I was so insecure. I was the type of guy that never fitted in because he never dared to choose. I was convinced I had absolutely no talent at all. For nothing. And that thought took away all my ambition too.”

That’s it. Exactly.

My first reaction was ‘Nice thought but there’s no way, Coulson is much younger than…’ and then I stopped mid-thought.

Because you know what.

You know what.

After Steve, the US government had to keep trying to recreate the Super-Soldier Serum.

And who

and who

would be the FIRST DAMN PERSON IN LINE to volunteer?

They told us it never worked again.  And that was kind of true.  They never again recreated the super-strength or the gleaming pecs.  But other things, they got right.  They got the vastly delayed aging.  And the kind of reflexes that make a man able to take out two armed thugs with a bag of flour.  And the talent for leading through example.  And they got the most important part, Erskine’s favorite part: the magnification of moral fiber, taking the loyalty and selflessness of a loyal and selfless man and making him into something spectacular.

Coulson didn’t buy those vintage cards on Ebay.

He’s had them since he was a little boy.

That little boy right there.

Anonymous asked: just so you know, Ariel's mother is mentioned in the third Little Mermaid movie. She is crushed by a pirate ship when it approaches the rocks that the family were relaxing on, trying to save a music box that King Triton gave her. Her death was important because she loved music, and because King Triton was so distraught by her death he banned all music from the mer-kingdom because it reminded him of her, and what caused her death.

They made a third Little Mermaid? O.o
I barely even remember the second.

Nevertheless, thank you anon.

I think Disney has a thing against mothers…

  • Bambi’s got shot.
  • Todd’s got shot.
  • Dumbo’s got imprisoned as a “mad elephant”.
  • Sarabi (Simba’s mother) gets essentially abused by his uncle.
  • Snow White gets an evil step-mother who tries to kill her, so obviously her mother is dead.
  • Cinderella gets en evil step-mother, indicating hers is dead as well.
  • Belle’s mother is dead.
  • Pocahontas’s mother is dead.
  • Jasmine’s mother is implied to be dead.
  • Ariel’s is never mentioned or seen (as far as I’m aware).
  • Rapunzel was kidnapped by someone she views as her mother who keeps her locked away in a tower and uses Rapunzel to keep her from aging.
